As of April 29, 2009, human cases of Swine Flu have been confirmed in the USA, Mexico, Canada and six other countries worldwide and have been suspected in many other nations. Deaths have been reported in the US and Mexico.
The World Health Organization warned that the swine flu outbreak is moving closer to becoming a pandemic, and raised its pandemic alert to phase 5 (phase 6 is the highest in the scale; it is for a full-scale pandemic).
Just how safe are we against the Swine Flu? According to the WHO, CDC and Health Canada, taking precautions to protect yourself and your practice is the best course of action.

†On the right side, allow 2” (50mm) of space for ventilation. Allow for at least 7” (180mm) above unit to enable access to reservoirs. If less than 7” (180mm), screw on hinges can be removed to allow reservoir lid to slide in and out of position.
