STATIM 5000 G4 autoclave

Fast, Gentle, Reliable, and Smart.

STATIM is the world’s fastest cassette autoclave from start to sterile, gentle on your instruments due to its state-of-the-art steam process and relied upon by the busiest of practices.

Drawing on decades of innovation, the leader in autoclave technology has created a complete line of STATIM Cassette Autoclaves – designed to meet the needs of every size of practice. The STATIM family comprises the fastest, most innovative cassette autoclaves available on the market today.

Expert advice for Piercing and Tattoo

Choosing the right STATIM autoclave for your studio ultimately comes down to a trade-off between speed and volume. While both the STATIM 2000 and the STATIM 5000 utilize the cutting-edge SciCan technology, they cater to different sterilization needs.

STATIM 2000: The Piercer's Choice for Speed

For the typical piercing studio that relies on "just-in-time" sterilization—the core advantage of the STATIM system—the STATIM 2000 is often the ideal machine. The 2000 is engineered for maximum speed, delivering a complete Unwrapped Hollow instrument cycle in approximately 6 minutes and 45 seconds (excluding drying). This rapid turnaround is essential for maintaining a continuous workflow and performing aseptic technique right in front of your client. Its smaller capacity, built for approximately 1 kg of instruments, is perfectly suited for sterilizing individual items like jewelry, needles, tapers, hemostats and clamps as needed throughout the day.

STATIM 5000: Power and Volume for High-Capacity Studios

The STATIM 5000, while still incredibly fast compared to conventional autoclaves, is slightly slower on its unwrapped cycle, taking approximately 9 minutes and 45 seconds (excluding drying). However, its larger cassette size makes it the superior choice for volume. With a maximum load of approximately 1.5 kg, the 5000 is better suited for:

  • High-volume piercing studios with greater bulk sterilization needs.
  • Combined studios that house both piercing and tattoo operations, requiring more capacity for wrapped instrument packs.
  • If you already have a STATIM 2000, and want similar operation and maintenance for packages, and occasional unwrapped sterilization.
The 5000 also features a wire rack for vertical package organization, and optional internal STAT-DRI Plates to assist with faster drying of larger or wrapped loads, a feature not present on the 2000.

The Bottom Line: If your priority is the fastest possible on-demand sterilization for unwrapped instruments, which is the case for most dedicated piercing professionals, the STATIM 2000 is the recommended choice. If, however, you need the extra room for greater daily volume or frequently sterilize wrapped loads, the STATIM 5000 offers the necessary capacity.

Fast

STATIM provides sterilization and dryness at speeds faster than conventional chambered autoclaves.

  • Using only a small amount of water for each cycle, the STATIM heats and converts to steam in mere seconds.
  • The innovative design of STATIM’s fully removable chamber allows for quick heating and cooling.
  • A complete solution: rapid sterilization with rapid drying via the STATIM Dri-Tec drying technology.
Smart

G4 Technology - information at your fingertips.

WiFi enabled G4 technology can connect and send cycle data to your smart devices or computer, allowing staff to focus on the most important thing in a dental practice, the patients.

Maintenance reminders, instructions and the option for automatic software updates keep your STATIM in good working order.

G4 technology connects your STATIM to specialized technicians, which allows for remote support and minimizes unnecessary downtime.

Reliable

For 30 years, STATIM’s speed, reliability and dependability have made it the ideal sterilizer for every practice.

Healthcare practitioners in over 90 countries around the world rely on STATIM to protect their patients and staff from infection.

The spirit of innovation that made STATIM an integral part of every Stericentre 30 years ago is still evident with the technological advancements like G4 technology that bring automation to the Stericentre.

Whether as a stand-alone product or in combination with the Bravo Chamber Sterilizer, dentists rely on STATIM for fast and efficient instrument turnaround.

This model has all the benefits of our Classic STATIM 5000 Cassette Autoclave

The STATIM 5000 "Classic" Cassette Autoclave has been superseded by the G4 model

  • Ultra-fast 9 minute unwrapped cycle.
  • 17.5 minute wrapped cycle
  • Exceptional instrument turnover
  • 15 minute Dri-TecR Drying Technology
  • Reduced instrument investment
  • Prolongs instrument life

Larger than the 2000, the Statim 5000 has an additional sterilization cycle and a roomier cassette designed to process bulkier instruments and greater loads. It's a reliable cassette sterilizer that's compact enough to fit in patient treatment areas and fast enough to sterilize expensive Lasik, PRK, endoscopic and cataract instruments, including phaco handpieces, between procedures - it can complete an unwrapped sterilization cycle in just nine minutes and a wrapped cycle in just 17.5 minutes.*

The Statim 5000 is fully automatic. Simply select one of four sterilization programs and with a single touch of the keypad, begin the cycle. An advanced microprocessor controls all functions and maintains optimal sterilization conditions, from start to finish.

SciCan's Statim cassette sterilizers have a biological effectiveness that has been proven in tests for hollow and solid instruments at many internationally recognized institutes in Canada, the United States and Europe.

* Cycle times do not include drying.
