“When a fly touches a Venus flytrap plant, the trap shuts, and the plant secretes an enzyme to kill and digest the insect,” she explained. “With the LAS Active System, when the surfactant molecule encounters a debris or microorganism on the surface, the tail of the molecule entraps the debris by forming a micelle, and then penetrates the bacterial cell membrane to kill the bacteria. Then, OPTIM OS1 wipes the entire micelle away, cleaning and disinfecting in just 1 motion.

Most practices encounter a wide range of microorganisms every day—none of which can be seen by the naked eye.
“If a wipe can kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis, as is the case with OPTIM OS1, it will also kill other microorganisms team members are likely to encounter on surfaces,” said Dr. Fluent. “That’s because other viruses, bacteria, and fungi generally require lesser contact times to be effective.”

VistaPure AutoFill Installation
A 12-foot length of clear polyurethane tubing is already attached to the AutoFill manifold. If the desired distance between the connection to the VistaPure and the autoclave is greater than 12 feet, simply order a longer length of the clear polyurethane tubing, as the distance from the VistaPure to the autoclave is not limited, except by the feed tubing.

The VistaPure AutoFill for BRAVO device (S3030) can be installed on any model BRAVO autoclave.
In order to connect the VistaPure AutoFill to the BRAVO, one of the two tanks that come with the BRAVO must be selected as a “relay tank” since the BRAVO system uses a suction-lift pump to fill its reservoir when in its automatic-filling mode. Note that the relay tank must be located within 6 feet of the BRAVO unit, due to the suction-lift capacity of the BRAVO pump.
